Gatherings

Our Gatherings

Storydwelling is a wild web of community, and our gatherings are expressions of our commitments.

On Sunday mornings, You can expect song and story, coffee and communion (sometimes with bread and wine, sometimes with bagels and juice). A relational, informal, intergenerational touchstone of connection for our community.

We have relational circles that emerge over the course of the year, including Shameless, our womxn’s circle; our Sacred Circle for immigrant and racial justice; deconstructing theology circles; Open Table–our gathering over a meal–and others. Whatever helps us live our commitments and stay grounded in relationship.

Our statement of affirmation for each and every gathering:

Welcome.
Pull up to the table, the celebration.
To people of all sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, and people of any race, documentation status, age, housing status, or belief, we say: WE are not only welcome here, we need each of us. The party isn’t complete until we are all here.
We affirm, celebrate, and hold the embodiment of radical inclusivity as a central part of who we are to truly feast, in the spirit of Jesus.

We remember that we are gathering on the stolen lands of the Wasco, Paiute and Warm Springs peoples. We recommit to repentance, repair and love as we honor this land and its people.

May this time be a blessing.
